Before making any motions in the direction of packing up that television, snap a couple of quick photos of the many wires and cables so that you can have a visible guide while you are hooking everything back up once you get to your new house. After that, meticulously remove all cords and cables. Coil them up and fasten them with a twist tie or rubber band and pack them into a box. Additionally, don't forget to label the carton. If the TV has a base or wall bracket, remove that also. Any of these things may be packed inside the same TV accessory box as the cords. Make certain and place any screws directly into baggies and again, label them. There is no need to have to speculate which fasteners go to which things as you are reassembling all the things at your destination, and considering the craziness that commonly arises around moving day, do not rely entirely on your memory when it comes to making sure everything gets put together as it was before. And, as long as you're at it, set all remotes in this carton, too.
With any kind of good luck, you had moving day in your mind as you purchased your flat panel Television, and for that reason, you preserved the original TV package and inserts. Nevertheless, if you are like most people, you did not want a massive empty carton filling up your garage area or basement, so you discarded it (preferably by means of recycling). Be sure to buy a box that is big enough to fit around the TV with some spare space for padding.
